CHICAGO—The Power Transmission Distributor Association named four new member companies, as two distributor members and two manufacturer members.

The new distributor members include Misumi USA, and Verona Industrial Equipment L.L.C., and the manufacturer members are Habasit America and Jones Bearing Co.

Misumi supplies mechanical components for factory automation, press die and plastic mold components, cutting tools and gauges. It serves about 240,000 customers worldwide.

Verona sells and distributes electric motors, drives and starter controls, and gearbox equipment for specialized applications including machine manufacturers, automotive, process industries, and heavy industrial manufacturing.

Habasit is a supplier of power transmission and conveyor belting products including fabric, plastic modular, chain, monolithic and timing belts.

Jones is a manufacturer of mounted roller bearings.

PTDA represents power transmission/motion control distribution firms that generate more than $16 billion in sales and span over 2,700 locations in total. PTDA members also include manufacturers that supply to the PT/MC industry.
